Having lived in Jakarta for seven years,
Anne had big, beautiful, outdoor furniture that needed a fresh look. Luckily I stumbled upon blue outdoor fabrics and I decided to work my way around that. We had to refill the cushions, change all the covers and add an eclectic mix of throw pillows to go
with her collection of exotic pieces.
Ma. Victoria's apartment was full of
mid century modern furniture and yet she wanted
more colour. We decided to give the living room
an African feel so the colours don´t overwhelm yet the
prints and accents add life. The bedrooms have a slightly
more bohemian, eclectic feel with Indian fabrics
and the guest room with a daybed, Asian elements.
Unfortunately I do not have photos of the final result,
just bits and pieces while trying out the fabrics.-(
Our biggest purchase was the main door from Gujarat and our biggest challenge was how to
integrate the antique pillars from church ruins in Randy and Mike´s modern tropical home.-)
